This year’s theme for Family Camp 2026 is Divine Providence.
Often we wonder what is the will of God, and we are excited to explore this subject more with Schoenstatt Families at Family Camp on July 31-Aug 2. Registration is underway, and we look forward to seeing you all there!
“The witness of Scripture is unanimous that the solicitude of divine providence is concrete and immediate; God cares for all …” CCC 303
Think of the joys, the sorrows, in family life, and even the moments in between where the path ahead seems unclear. Let us seek to have a “childlike trust in the storm.”
“We want to go wherever God opens a door for us. This is practical faith in Divine Providence..” – J. Kentenich, 1951
”The sacred books powerfully affirm God’s absolute sovereignty over the course of events: ‘Our God is in the heavens; he does whatever he pleases.’ 162 And so it is with Christ, ‘who opens and no one shall shut, who shuts and no one opens.’ 163 As the book of Proverbs states: ‘Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will be established.’164 ” – CCC 303
At Family Camp this summer, parents and children will delve into question such as:
Why is it difficult to trust and act, knowing God will take care?
