Couples League

The Schoenstatt Family League was founded on July 16, 1942, in a concentration camp in Dachau, Germany. The Family League is part of the family movement along with the Family Federation and Family Institute.

The couples who belong to the Family League strive to build holy marriages. Through ongoing formation and inspiration, the couples are encouraged to form holy families within the Church, in the midst of our modern world. Living out of Schoenstatt’s spirituality: the covenant of love, everyday sanctity, and instrumentality, also helps the couples become reflections of the Holy Family of Nazareth.

The Schoenstatt couples live their marriage covenant according to the teachings of the Church.

The Family League members see their own family as their first field of apostolate.

Those who belong to the Family League may come together in smaller groups and meet each month to discuss the Schoenstatt spirituality, Catholic views on family and marriage, and how to live in everyday life the true vocation of marriage and family.
