JUBILEE FESTIVAL
As many of you already know, this year we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of our community, the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary. One hundred years ago, our father and founder, together with a few courageous women, dared to begin a new type of community – a future secular institute – at the service of the Church and society, especially through our total dedication to God and souls through the Schoenstatt Work. We wish to:
- celebrate our blessed history with GRATITUDE
- renew our SURRENDER to God and our MTA at this significant milestone
- and anticipate a hopeful future with CONFIDENCE and JOY.
The motto for our jubilee year expresses all of this: Mary, light of our HOPE!
Mary has been, is, and will ever be the radiant light that gives us hope as we bear the mission of our father and founder to our world and time. In the covenant of love, she has proven herself faithful to us, she remains ever close to us in her shrine, and she strengthens our trust in God’s wise and loving plans.
We invite you to join us in offering our gratitude, surrender, and confidence as we commemorate our 100th anniversary with a JUBILEE FESTIVAL at our International Schoenstatt Center in Waukesha. We wish to gather with you around the shrine of our MTA and around our father and founder in a family-like celebration. At the same time, this festival is our chance to express our gratitude to you for your collaboration with us in our Schoenstatt mission, your loyal support of our work in so many ways, and your spiritual unity with us in the covenant of love.
The festival will take place from September 8-12, 2026 – opening on the feast of the Nativity of Mary and culminating in the anniversary celebration on the day dedicated to the Holy Name of Mary. The invitation included here has more detailed information about what you can look forward to and how to register. We hope that as many of you as possible will be able to join us for this historic occasion!
