All members of the Family League are invited to participate in these workshops.  We will cover topics that will help us to know the Schoenstatt Movement in greater depth. We will also learn about the principles and goals  of education which Father Kentenich developed for couples and families.

Overview:

These workshops are meant to be moments of study, discussion, and reflection. The first three topics will give us an overview of basic Schoenstatt elements as seen from outside: its charism, mission, and profile within the Church. The next few topics will cover essential components necessary for growing deeper in our spirituality and for being able to give it on. Ultimately, the workshops should help us embrace Schoenstatt as a Movement with a message for our times. With the last two topics we will explore how to share our charism and message here and now in our Church and world.

Materials Needed:

  • Catechism of the Catholic Church
  • 200 Questions of Schoenstatt
  • Schoenstatt’s Spirituality, Schoenstatt Read and Reflect Series
  • Heavenwards &  Founding Documents
  • Other documents provided as part of the workshops  (Some of the material will be posted here only after each of the sessions.)

The workshops are two hour sessions. We will begin at 7:00 PM in the shrine and end at 9:00 PM. There will be a short break between the two hours period. Outlines are provided. Reading of material prior to the workshops is recommended, but not required.
