Happy Covenant Day!

18th Impulse - November 2023

Dear Schoenstatt Mothers and friends,
Blessings as we celebrate our Covenant Day in November! We join together as Living Monstrance to give thanks for the gift of the covenant of love with our Mother Thrice Admirable, Queen, and Victress of Schoenstatt. Prayer Intentions

Spiritually in the Original Shrine and in our home and heart shrines we pray ...
  • We pray for our Holy Father Pope Francis and all bishops and priests and consecrated religious.
  • We pray for unity among all our church family that the Sursum Corda spirit will penetrate the church by means of our contributions to the capital of graces.
  • We pray for world Peace, especially in Ukraine/Russia, Israel/Gaza Strip - that an end will come to hatred and violence towards humanity.
  • We pray for vocations to the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary and to every branch of our Schoenstatt family - so that the spirit of our Father and Founder may permeate the church and world.
  • We pray for the canonization of our Father and Founder Joseph Kentenich so that through his example the world may come to recognize and experience God's fatherly love and care for each person.
  • We pray for an increase and deeper love and devotion to our Eucharistic Lord in this time of the Eucharistic Revival, especially in our Schoenstatt Shrines.
  • We pray for all the souls of the faithful departed who have gone on to the eternal Schoenstatt land.
  • We pray for all political leaders and all people who have major roles that determine other people's lives.
  • We pray for all Schoenstatters, that we may be united in the covenant of Love and thereby build a society in which everyone can live in, with, and for one another.
  • We pray for holy vocations to the sacrament of marriage that these marriages may mirror the love and relationship of the Triune God.
  • We pray for those who are dying of cancer and other terminal illness and for their families and care givers.
  • We pray for all families at this time of thanksgiving that the time together may be blessing for all.
  • For your intentions ...
You know the way, you know the time. Into your hands we trustingly place them.
Your plan is born of perfect love. You know the way. That is enough.

Insight into Synod

Schoenstatt member, Pedro Weizenmann gives his insight into participating in the Synod that took place in October 2023. Also, enjoy the summary video of the Synod Document.
Here are three inspirational articles for you this month to lift up your hearts.
  • Venerable Sr. M. Emilie: Read about a group that makes a day trip to Metternich, the place of Venerable Emilie Engel's grave. Her anniversary of her death is commemorated on November 20.
  • Venerable Sr. M. Emilie a miracle of trust: Read the article about how Sr. M. Emilie can help us grow into a miracle of trust. Don't we all need trust in the challenges of our present time!
  • Walk on all souls day: In the month of November, we remember our beloved deceased family members. In this article, we are reminded to give thanks for those who have led us on our Schoenstatt path.
  • Anniversary of the Cor Unum in Patre Shrine in Helotes, Texas: Read about the blessings of the Schoenstatt Shrine near San Antonio, Texas that recently celebrated 15 years of its dedication.
In this covenant month as we give thanks for the many gifts we have received. We give thanks for our Lord, Jesus Christ, in the Eucharist as we remember our intention to Spiritually Encourage Eucharistic Devotion as Living Monstrance in the time of the Eucharistic Revival. We lift up our hearts, sursum corda, thanking our heavenly Father for the gift of Schoenstatt, our founder, and our network of shrines. Praying for you in our National Schoenstatt Shrine here in Waukesha - our International Shrine of the Father Kingdom. A special thanks to Annie Gonzales for helping find the articles for this 18th impulse and for writing the petitions.

In Gratitude,
