Happy Covenant Day!

18th Impulse - May 2023

Dear Schoenstatt Mothers and friends,
Many Covenant Day greetings to you in this beautiful month of May where we honor our Mother and Queen each day as the Queen of May! The Living Monstrance ideal of the Schoenstatt Mothers' inspires us with the following quote from Schoenstatt's founder, Father Joseph Kentenich:
The meaning of our lives is to make Our Lady present as the Christ bearer, Christ bringer, and Handmaid of Christ. However, we do not want to overlook the fact that the Mother of God is, at the same time, the uniquely great child of the Father.
J. Kentenich 1966
Let us lift up our hearts and rejoice as we renew the covenant of love with our Mother Thrice Admirable, Queen, and Victress of Schoenstatt and with each other.

Don't forget to offer your capital of grace from the past month. These large or small contributions placed into our MTA's hands can contribute to helping her lift up the hearts of people who need hope. Submit your contributions at the provided link.
In Waukesha, we have been offering covenant preparation on three Covenant Sundays (March, April, and May 2023). Inspiration came from the Ohio Schoenstatt Family and other areas of the USA are looking to see how we can share the covenant of love with our MTA to others. Here are some links that you might find to be helpful.

  • For many blessings upon our country during the Eucharistic Revival
  • For all those with family members graduating and moving to a new season of life.
ExileShrine_Adoration 02
  • For all mothers in this month where we celebrated Mothers Day.
  • For the Holy Spirit to help us lift up our hearts and to find small ways to lift up the hearts of those around us.
  • For all people struggling with physical and mental health issues.
  • For safety for all travelers and those on vacation as we begin the summer vacation season.
  • In gratitude for the many gifts of love we have received from our Covenant Mother and Queen.
For your intentions ...

You know the way, you know the time. Into your hands we trustingly place them.
Your plan is born of perfect love. You know the way. That is enough.

Share in the Pilgrimage to Schoenstatt

Intentions: All of you are invited to send a petition or the name of persons you want remembered in the Schoenstatt/ Dachau pilgrimage that begins soon: June 7-21, 2023. Here are some ways you can connect with the pilgrimage:

Sr. M. Emilie: We will visit the grave of one of Schoenstatt's heroes who has been declared venerable 11 years ago.

Original Shrine: Visit via webcam on Monday, May 22 commemorating 10 years of the Original Shrine being given to Schoenstatt from the Pallottine Community as a gift for Schoenstatt's 100 anniversary.

Dachau: Read about Sr. M. Elinor and her mission of leading pilgrims through Dachau where Schoenstatt's founder was in prison for over 3 years during the Second World War
Let us continue to unite in striving to be Christ bearers and Christ bringers as Living Monstrance during the rest of this month of May. We want to fill the capital of grace of our Mother Thrice Admirable so that the Eucharistic Revival in our country my be blessed. On or around Corpus Christi Sunday, many dioceses are having events and Eucharistic processions. Maybe the article above gives you ideas of how you can make a Eucharistic Pilgrimage to one of our Schoenstatt Shrines. Please invite your family members to attend.

In Gratitude,
Sr. M. Deanne
