Happy Covenant Day!

18th Impulse - March 2023

Dear Schoenstatt Mothers and friends,
Many Covenant Day greetings as we unite either spiritually or physically in our Schoenstatt Shrine to renew the covenant of love with our Mother Thrice Admirable, Queen, and Victress of Schoenstatt, the great Living Monstrance. Here are some options for making this March 2023 Covenant Day special.
  • Original Shrine: Take time to make a virtual visit for two minutes to two hours in the Original Shrine (all day) via webcam.
  • Virtual Covenant Renewal - Waukesha: Attend the virtual covenant renewal (bilingual) at the International Shrine of the Father Kingdom in Waukesha at 7:30 CT.
  • Schoenstatt Way of Life Podcast: Listen to Julia Monnin's podcast for the Covenant Day!
CoG
CAPITAL OF GRACE
Take a few minutes to consider the experiences of the past month and offer our MTA a precious gift of gratitude, of an offering of self-education, and of a petition. Our small and large contributions help in the renewal of the world that our Mother and Queen initiates from our network of Schoenstatt shrines. Submit your contributions at the provided link.

Schoenstatt inspirations for you!

As we continue the Lenten journey, here are some inspirations for you.
  • Remembering her encounters with Father Kentenich. Sr. M. Eileen from Milwaukee, Wisconsin spent two months in Europe sharing her encounters of 13 years of personally knowing Schoenstatt's founder.
  • The Bicycle is the first in a series of articles sharing insights that God can share a message for us in everything around us. What message does a bicycle have for us today?
  • Challenge of being a woman the topic of womanhood is a hot topic in our present culture. In this article see how a woman from Argentina applies the Schoenstatt principles of the Movement and Fr. Kentenich’s vision regarding this current topic.
We ask our Mother Thrice Admirable, Queen, and VIctress of Schoenstatt to intercede:
  • For all who have family members struggling with identity issues
  • For grace to persevere in our Lenten resolutions.
  • For all who struggle with terminal illness.
  • For peace in the world especially between Ukraine and Russia.
  • For all suffering from the loss of a loved one.
  • For the unemployed and underemployed.
  • For peace in our hearts especially toward those who we find to be difficult.
  • For safety in travel.

Celebrating the Feast Days

.
St. Joseph Mary's husband: read about why we honor Joseph and ask his intercession especially for the Universal Church.

Annunciation of the Lord: is celebrated on March 25. Read the short inspiration about the feast that we celebrate Jesus incarnation and Mary's yes to being the Mother of God.

Covenant Day renewal is celebrated with enthusiasm in Atlanta, Georgia among the Brazilian Schoenstatters.
As we continue our Lenten journey we remember that our MTA asks us in the Founding Document to strive for the highest ideals especially using life's difficulties to help accelerate the process of holiness. When we offer our contributions to our MTA's capital of grace then she will educate us to be useful instruments in her hands for the salvation of the world. As Living Monstrance let us use this time well and lift up our hearts and encourage others to lift up their hearts to the Lord!

In Gratitude,
Sr. M. Deanne
