2022 Sursum Corda Lift up your hearts
January 18, 2023

Dear Schoenstatt Mothers Leaders,

Happy Covenant Day, as we begin a new year with our Covenant Queen!
A new year brings new expectations and new beginnings.
Father Pushpa will begin his new task in India after finishing up business here. Please remember to send in your spiritual bouquet contributions by January 19, 2023. He will lead the National Leaders Meeting (via zoom) on January 21, 2023 where each diocese will be given an opportunity to share about their experience with the Sursum Corda! Lift up your Heart! umbrella statement. This will be the opportunity for us to say thank you and farewell.

Thank you Father Pushpa for your service to the Schoenstatt Mothers!

Pilgrimage to Schoenstatt, Germany

2023 June Pilgrimage (with logo)
Pilgrimage to Schoenstatt Germany - June 7-21, 2023. We had our first zoom meetings about the pilgrimage on January 7. There is still room for more pilgrims to join us. The pilgrimage overview video for more information. The pilgrimage is a wonderful opportunity to experience Schoenstatt at its origin and to discover important aspects of the life of Father Joseph Kentenich, the founder of Schoenstatt. Dachau, the place where Father Kentenich founded the Schoenstatt International, giving witness to the power of the covenant of love in challenging times. The trip providentially includes the celebration of Corpus Christi uniting us with the Eucharistic Revival promoted by the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops. We also bring our gratitude for the many blessings we have received personally, as groups, and as Schoenstatt Family in the USA.
First payment is due February 1, 2023

Blessings to all of you as we unite in our Mother Thrice Admirable, Queen, and Victress of Schoenstatt. May our father and founder, Father Joseph Kentenich continue to intercede for us the courage to do God's will in our everyday life. Here is the link to sending in petitions online and to the Daily Impulse made through the Founder Secretariat in Germany.
Maia Wyler helped us develop a new logo for the Schoenstatt Mothers.
The monstrance represents the Schoenstatt Mothers' symbol of the Living Monstrance. In the center of the monstrance is the Schoenstatt Symbol with the shrine in the middle. In the Schoenstatt Shrine is where Jesus is found in the tabernacle. After Mary's example, we want to be Christ-bearers, Christ-bringers, and serve Christ in those around us. This reminds us of our efforts as Schoenstatt Mothers in the USA to contribute to the Eucharistic Revival in our country through SEEDS: Spiritually Encourage Eucharistic Devotion!
Last January, the USCCB put out a document on the Eucharist called: The Mystery of the Eucharist in the Life of the Church. Also, check out Sunday of the Word of God, the upcoming video series being offered on different topics about the Eucharist.
Keeping all of you and your families in prayer here at our MTA's Schoenstatt Shrine in Waukesha!

In Gratitude,
Sr. M. Deanne
