Blessed Covenant Day for December 2022!

2022 Sursum Corda Lift up your hearts
18th Impulse - December 2022

Dear Schoenstatt Mothers and friends,
Many Covenant Day blessings to you as we renew the covenant of love with our Mother Thrice Admirable, Queen, and Victress of Schoenstatt in the month of December in this season of Advent as we prepare for Christmas! Again our covenant renewal is on a Sunday where we have our third Sunday of Advent Mass - Covenant Sunday here at the Schoenstatt Center in Waukesha. Together, united in our home shrines, daughter shrines, and heart shrines, we thank our Mother Thrice Admirable for all of the gifts and blessings we have received in the past month. We offer prayer, sacrifices, and acts of self-education into our MTA's capital of grace and bring our intentions and needs to her throne of grace. Together we lift up our hearts in the joy of being in covenant with our Mother and Queen.

On this covenant day, you are invited to make a daring step to go and visit the Original Schoenstatt and Dachau, where Father Kentenich proved his love for our Covenant Queen in great difficulties. Prayerfully consider, is our MTA calling you to come and visit her at the most holy place of Schoenstatt's origin. Pilgrimage begins on the Thursday that Corpus Christi is celebrated in Germany. SEEDS - Spiritually Encourage Eucharistic Devotion

Join the Schoenstatt Mothers in promoting the SEEDS: Spiritually encouraging Eucharistic devotion. Here is one article from the National website for the Eucharistic Revival about how Jesus beholds us and desires us to behold him in the Eucharist. This might encourage a conversation with a family member or friend about the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.

Gratitude is the greatest petition

We place the following intentions into the hands of our Mother Thrice Admirable, Queen, and Victress of Schoenstatt:
  • For Pope Francis, all bishops and priests that they may be given the strength to lead the faithful with decisions that encourage peace, generosity and courage in the power of the Holy Spirit.
  • For the church during this month of Mary’s Immaculate Conception and Christ’s birth. May we be inspired by the grace of Mary’s purity and love. Help us to bring Christ to all those in our lives this Christmas and into the new year.
  • For all government leaders in our county and abroad, that they lead with justice and serve others for the common good and that they fully promote the right to life.
  • For and end to the war in Ukraine; that peace is fostered between governments for harmony and unity; for those who are wounded, dying, hungry, thirsty, or suffering from the cold.

  • For all those in our Schoenstatt Family as we renew our Covenant and recommit to fervent prayer, heroic virtue, and contributions to the Capital of Grace always remembering “Nothing without you, and Nothing without Us”.
  • For all Schoenstatt Mothers and friends who receive this email that we may be inspired by the Schoenstatter and Servant of God, John Pozzobon, so we follow in his footsteps as effective instruments of Mary for our families, community and our world.
