Blessed Covenant Day for November!
| 18th Impulse - November 2022
| Dear Schoenstatt Mothers and friends,
| Many Covenant Day blessings to you as we renew the covenant of love with our Mother Thrice Admirable, Queen, and Victress of Schoenstatt in the month of November.
| Q & A: What does impulse mean? This question is referring to this email and it's title: 18th Impulse. Sometimes we think of impulse in relation to doing things impulsively or without thinking but that is not what is meant. There is a second definition: a driving or motivating force; an impetus. The 18th impulse is an opportunity to share some articles, videos, links, and inspirations to help you live the covenant of love. We know how quickly a month goes by and how often we get caught up in many things and forget about our covenant partner and her mission from Schoenstatt. The 18th impulse invites us to begin anew and to show our love and gratitude to our Mother Thrice Admirable, Queen, and Victress of Schoenstatt for all she has done for us especially in the past month.
| Lift up your hearts! Sursum Corda! The umbrella statement for the Schoenstatt Movement in the USA for 2022-2023 is causing a movement of joy and interest as the leaders of the Schoenstatt Movement meet in each diocese/area. It has been a joy to participate in this process in a number of areas. It is like watching a baby be born. Each area has its own needs and desires and in prayer and discussion the motto comes forth bringing joy.
| Join the Covenant Renewal either by visiting the Original Shrine via webcam or joining the online covenant renewal in Waukesha. Thank our MTA for the many blessings received in the past month.

SEEDS - Spiritually Encourage Eucharistic Devotion
| Join the Schoenstatt Mothers in promoting the SEEDS: Spiritually encouraging Eucharistic devotion. Here is one article from the National website for the Eucharistic Revival about how Jesus beholds us and desires us to behold him in the Eucharist. This might encourage a conversation with a family member or friend about the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.
| Also available is the power point presentation used for the Schoenstatt Mothers in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Some of Pope Francis letter "I Desire to Be with You," is included.
Gratitude is the greatest petition
| We place the following intentions into the hands of our Mother Thrice Admirable, Queen, and Victress of Schoenstatt:
- For women trying to help children work through identity issues.
- For women suffering from terminal illnesses and needing to reduce their households.
- For the health and safety of expectant mothers and their babies.
- For women struggling with decisions about their personal safety and that of their children.
- For women preparing to make their covenant of love.
- For the gift of a grateful heart during the celebration of Thanksgiving.
| In the month of November, we remember our beloved deceased family members and friends. Enjoy an article on those in our Schoenstatt Family who are Blesseds (3) and Venerables (2). Can you guess who some of them are?
Mass intentions to the Schoenstatt Fathers: It was recently brought to my attention that the Schoenstatt Father's prefer the Mass intentions to come in online. Please use the link at the Schoenstatt Austin website. In Texas the Mass stipend is $5.00. Up "north" the custom is that the Mass stipend is $10.00. Doing the Mass stipends online helps the Schoenstatt Father's to keep better track of when the Masses are said.
| Home Shrine Anniversary 2023 Video: During the upcoming year 2023 there are a number of anniversaries that are being celebrated. November 18, 1963 is the founding day of the home shrines. A short video on this anniversary has already been prepared for your to enjoy and appreciate your own home shrine more.
| Here are some helpful links to materials for the upcoming holidays found on the Schoenstatt Family USA website.
| You and your intentions are remembered in our International Shrine of the Father Kingdom here in Waukesha, Wisconsin - our national Schoenstatt Shrine! Thank you for your prayers and contributions to the capital of grace as we Lift up our Hearts! Sursum Corda!
